Does Travel By Akasha (TBA) only book culinary focused trips?
I can book various travel experiences, including ocean and river cruises, wellness retreats, cultural explorations, honeymoons and memorable life celebrations for individuals, families, and groups.

I specialize in small group or individual, highly curated experiences designed for travelers seeking authenticity, luxury, and cultural depth. My trips are handcrafted with attention to detail and led by passionate experts who bring each destination to life.
What types of trips can TBA plan?
I don’t believe in “cookie-cutter” vacations. Instead, I am dedicated to ensuring that you have a truly extraordinary trip-of-a-lifetime every single time you embark on your travels. My affiliation with First in Service provides me with invaluable access to a vast global network of travel advisors and partners, all of whom possess years of experience and well-established connections to the world’s finest hotels, best chefs, destination experts, private guides, and exclusive, unforgettable experiences.

Will you consult on a trip?
I’m happy to offer travel consulting and recommendations, but just a quick note:
If I’m not the one booking the trip, I won’t be able to step in or offer support if anything goes wrong during your travels. My ability to advocate on your behalf—whether it’s for flight changes, hotel issues, or unexpected disruptions—is tied to having booked those components directly. Do you book cruises?
Of course! Book your cruise with me and through the Virtuoso Voyages program, you can receive added benefits like dedicated onboard hosts, private welcome receptions, special shore excursions, shipboard credits and specialty dining options. Can you book flights?

Can you create a group trip just for me?
I can design fully custom private journeys for individuals, families, friends and small groups. Let me know your vision and I will create a tailor-made itinerary based on your interests. If you are a tastemaker in your field such as a chef, baker, sommelier, mixologist, yoga teacher, writer, or artist, I would love to plan a trip for you and your clients, fans or followers. You would be surprised how many people want to travel with you!

Do you only book luxury travel?
Not at all! While I have access to luxury properties and exclusive perks, my focus is on creating the right experience for each traveler—whether that's a five-star resort, a boutique eco-lodge, glamping in India, a charming 4-Star Irish Manor House, or a mix of everything. It's about what fits you best, not just a price point. Some of my favorite properties are small boutique hotels, which in my opinion, always have the best food! Whether you're dreaming of a luxurious honeymoon, an adventurous family trip, a culinary tour, or a simple, meaningful getaway, I customize each journey to match your style, interests, and budget.
Do you recommend Travel Insurance?
